Block Captains Building Community

Sections 13 & 14 Block Captains got together last October to plan a Halloween Parade for their kids.  Having a parade outside meant they could socially distance and still have a good time together.  They planned a route, made flyers, and invited the fire truck and everyone in both sections to take part in the parade.  If you weren’t walking in the parade, you were invited to cheer for and throw candy, Mardi Gras style, to the kids as they walked by. A good time was had by all, as the pictures attest. Thank you, Block Captains, in all sections, for continuing to come up with fun ways that build community for our neighborhood!
