The Timbergram Seeks Volunteers!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our neighborhood, and much like our Board, Committees, and other programming, The Timbergram is run by a group of volunteer residents who coordinate its publication.

Alison Reynolds manages the print edition of the newsletter, collecting content from neighborhood constituents, designing the layout, and liaising with our printer to ensure hard-copy issues are finished on time.

Jennifer Vickers oversees the newsletter advertising, which includes soliciting new advertisers for the newsletter, confirming advertising commitments for each edition, organizing artwork submissions, and invoicing.

Michelle Kern orchestrates the delivery of the print edition to all 1,275 homes in the neighborhood, folding, bagging and coordinating delivery volunteers. And of course, our many delivery volunteers sign up every other month to walk and hand-deliver the newsletter, block by block, where it finally makes it to your doorstep!

The Timbergram Committee is in search of a new volunteer(s) to take over management of newsletter advertising. The role typically requires 3-4 hours of work for each edition, which is published six times per year: January, March, May, July, September and November. If you excel at deadlines, details, and e-mail communication, and would like to learn more about getting involved, email us.
