T.C.Jester bridge over White Oak Bayou under construction, February, 1961. The northbound section was built first, and started in 1960 to link the first and second phases of Timbergrove after White Oak Bayou was channeled in 1956. Until it was finished in the fall of 1961, residents used West 11th Street to get home.
