We All Scream for Ice Cream! Independence Day Social & Parade

What better way to beat the heat this Independence Day than with some neighborhood fun and delicious ice cream? Join us to celebrate the Fourth of July at our Annual Ice Cream Social!

Festivities will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 at Jaycee Park, located at 1300 Seamist Drive. We’ll have your favorite ice cream flavors with an assorted selection of toppings. Dairy allergy? Don’t fret! There will also be watermelon, cut fresh and served ice cold with lemonade and iced tea.

There will be plenty of activities on hand for kids and adults alike to enjoy. The best part? It’s the children’s parade of course! Gather up your friends in the neighborhood, decorate your wagons, bicycles, tricycles, strollers, carts, and yourself! Show us your spirit of the red, white and blue. You know who else loves the parade? Your pets! They love the attention! There will be prizes for everyone involved.

TMCC volunteers will be on site if you’d like to pay your 2019 membership dues, get information about our neighborhood and area parks, and grab a Timbergrove car decal while you’re at it!

For anyone interested in doing some last-minute volunteer work at this event, email activities@timbergrove.org. We are happy to have as many volunteers as possible!
