Won’t you join us as we celebrate our nation’s Independence at our long standing neighborhood traditional event — the Annual Independence Day Ice Cream Social.
We begin at 4:00 p.m. at Jaycee Park, 1300 Seamist Drive. Neighborhood realtor, Sharon Ettinger of Keller William Metropolitan Realty, is going to be our event sponsor again this year. Thank you very much Sharon.
The children’s parade, with their pets is the best part! So come on kids! Decorate your wagons, bicycles, tricycles, strollers, carts and YOURSELF! Show us your displays of red white and blue! There will be prizes for everyone!
Baskin Robins, at 1354 W 43rd St, will be providing some of your favorite ice cream with a selection of ice cream toppings. We’ll have ice cold watermelon with lemonade and iced tea along with a balloon artist and face painter.
No Independence Day celebration hosted by Timbergrove Manor can ever be complete without a fire engine! Come out and see the fire engine and actually climb aboard, turn the steering wheel, meet the firemen, take pictures and learn about firefighting first hand.
At all of our neighborhood events, you will find a neighborhood information table. If you haven’t yet, you can pay your 2017 Membership Dues – cash, check, or credit card. We will have car window neighborhood decals available.
And for all of you who are interested in doing some volunteer work for our neighborhood, get in touch at email@example.com.
