It’s a new year. And with each new year tends to come a renewed sense of commitment. Commitment to family, to self and possibly even to the community. If your 2017 will be a time to resolve to get more involved with your community, meet new people and do some good, consider volunteering with the TMCC.
We have many active committees that would be bolstered by your volunteer commitment. You can help plan or provide day-of support for one of the many special events organized by the TMCC each year. You can host – or co-host – a block party in November’s annual National Night Out gathering. You can join the dedicated volunteers who give regularly of their time as part of the HPD Citizen Patrol program. You can volunteer at workdays for West 11th Street Park. You can come early to our regularly scheduled general meetings to help set up chairs or stay late to help break down.
No matter how you want to help, we need you! To get involved email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what you’re interested in. We’ll connect you with the right person. In advance, thanks for stepping up!
